Delete your data or your account

You can delete almost anything you've made in Wishpile yourself. To delete your whole account, send us an email.

What you can delete in the app

• A gift: tap it to open it, then tap Delete gift.
• A person: open their page and tap the trash can icon at the top. Their gifts go with them.
• A gift list: tap the list name at the top of the screen, tap Edit list, then Delete list. All its people and gifts go with it.
• A wishlist: on the Wishlists tab, tap the three dots next to it, then Delete wishlist. Its items go with it.
• A wish: open the wishlist, tap the three dots on the item, then Delete.
• A wishlist group: on the Wishlists tab, tap Delete group. This removes all its members, wishlists, and items. Only the organizer can do this.
• A Secret Santa draw: tap the trash can icon on the draw. Only the organizer can do this.
• A household: on your Profile, tap Leave household, or Disband household if you created it, then confirm. Disbanding ends it for everyone in it.

Good to know

• Deleting is permanent. There's no trash and no undo.
• In a household, you and your partner can both delete from shared lists, and a delete removes it for both of you.
• Past lists are worth keeping. They make next year easier, and they don't get in the way. See Reuse last year's list.
