Add Wishpile to your home screen

Wishpile is a web app, so there's no app store download. Add it to your home screen once and it gets its own icon and opens full screen, without the browser bars.

iPhone (Safari)

1. Open wishpile.com in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up). If you don't see it, tap the ... button first, then Share.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Tap Add. The Wishpile icon appears on your home screen.

Android (Chrome)

1. Open wishpile.com in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
3. Tap Add to Home screen or Install app. The wording depends on your phone.
4. Confirm, and the Wishpile icon appears on your home screen.

Using the installed app

• Refresh: there's no browser reload button, so drag down from the very top of any page. When the refresh icon appears, let go and the page reloads.
• Updates: when a newer version of Wishpile is ready, a note at the top says A new version is available. Tap Refresh to switch to it. Tap the X to hide the note for now and keep going.
• Signing in: the first time you open Wishpile from the home screen, you may need to sign in again. After that it remembers you.

Good to know

• It's the same Wishpile as the website. Your lists, wishlists, and groups are all there, whichever way you open it.
• On a computer, you can keep using Wishpile in any browser. Nothing to install.
• To remove it, delete the icon like any other app. Your account and data stay safe.
